Feather Flags (Sail Signs) FAQ
What materials and printing method do you use?
We use 4 oz polyester mesh flag material and print via dye sublimation, which produces vivid, long-lasting full-color graphics.
We make them washable and suitable for outdoor use.
Are the flags available single-sided and double-sided?
Yes, both. Single-sided flags have the graphic printed on one side with a black nylon pole sleeve on the back.
Double-sided flags are sewn back-to-back with a silver block-out layer between the two sides so the graphics do not bleed through.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer a range of sizes, including:
Small: 9′ flag (23.5″ × 78.5″)
Medium: 10.5′ flag
Large: 14′ flag
Extra Large: 18′ flag
What pole and base options are included?
We supply an aluminum and fiberglass interlocking pole set (tool-free assembly).
Base options include cross base, square base, cross base with water weight or ground stake attachment.
A carrying bag (nylon, zippered) is also available.
What is the assembled height of the flags?
Heights vary by size. For example, the 18′ flag is the tallest option, with pole and graphic combined. Other sizes scale accordingly.
How long will a feather flag last outdoors?
With proper installation, fabric quality, and UV-resistant inks, you can expect strong performance. The mesh fabric and dye-sub method help increase durability in outdoor conditions like wind and sun. Don't put them up in thunderstorms or hurricanes
where winds can exceed 30MPH.
Can I supply my own artwork or get design help?
Yes. You can upload your own print-ready artwork. If you prefer, we can also design for you. After ordering, a designer will contact you to collaborate on your design (within 2–4 business hours).
What is the production time?
Typical production time is 3 business days after your artwork is approved.
Do you provide templates for design layout?
Yes. Design templates (PDFs) are available to match each size and orientation (single-sided and double-sided) so you can align your artwork properly and leave correct bleed and safe areas. You can download them above on the "templates" tab.
