Can you send me samples of your coaster printing? Of course! We will mail you samples of each thickness free of charge. Email your shipping address to sales@bigmediaprinting.com to begin the process.
How thick is 60pt coaster material? 60pt material is approximately 1.5mm thick, similar to a penny. 60pt pulpboard is the industry standard for bars and restaurants because it is rigid but cost effective.
What is pulpboard coaster paper? Pulpboard is the industry standard material for producing custom beer coasters. It is absorbent and sustainably harvested from a certified forestry company. You can get many uses out of a thick, sturdy pulpboard coaster at a bar or brewpub. Even if your personalized coasters are sopping wet, they will dry overnight ready to be used again.
Do you offer color matching? No. We are able to match colors very closely, but due to how strict some customers are we no longer guarantee a perfect match.
Why is shipping so expensive? Bulk coaster shipments are heavy. For example, an order of 2,500 40pt personalized coasters would ship in one box weighing nearly 30lbs.
Can you help me with graphic design? We offer quick designs free of charge, but complex work is $60 per file. You may use our online design tool free of charge. Tell us about your project by contacting sales@bigmediaprinting.com.
We have an event coming up, can we get personalized coasters on time? Lead time for a custom coaster order is approximately three to four weeks plus shipping time. Rush orders are currently not available for custom coaster shapes.
How many versions can we have for our personalized coaster order? One version is allowed for a custom printed coaster order, but you can use different creatives for the front and back.
What are uses for coasters? Our #1 customer base is a tie between hospitality and weddings. Wedding favor coasters are very popular. We also print for bars, restaurants, breweries, and distilleries. All of these markets need personalized beverage coasters.
Are there additional costs or fees with ordering coasters? We charge for custom coaster printing and shipping; there are no setup fees or design fees. Sales tax would apply if you are located in Minnesota.
