What does “NCR” mean and what is an NCR form?
“NCR” stands for “No Carbon Required.” These forms are made from carbonless copy paper, which transfers what you write or print on the top sheet onto one or more sheets beneath without the need for messy carbon paper.

How many parts can an NCR form have?
You can order forms in 3-part sets. Each part creates a duplicate copy when pressure is applied to the top sheet.

What sizes and formats are available?
We offer standard 8.5″ × 11″ that are 3-pages each (they do not come in pads or as books). Sequential numbers can be added upon request.

Can I print full-color graphics or include variable data?
Yes. NCR forms can be printed in full color and can include your logo, brand colors, and even sequential numbering or barcodes for tracking.

How does the paper work to create copies?
The paper is coated with special chemicals, microcapsules on the back of the top sheet and a reactive clay on the front of the next. When pressure is applied, the coatings interact to reproduce your writing or printed text onto the next sheet.
